Description

This boundary stone, dating from 1757, is located on the northern boundary of Papplewick Parish, 500 yards west of Mansfield Road. It is made of sandstone and has a square block shape with a pyramidal top. The south face is inscribed with "P. JANUARY II 1757," while the north face bears the letter "N." This stone marks the northern limit of the parish of Papplewick.
