Description
This boundary stone, dating from 1757, is located north of the Papplewick Pumping Station Reservoir. It is made of ashlar and has a square plan topped with a pyramidal cap. The south front is inscribed with the letter "P" and the date "1757 January 11," while the north front features the letter "N." This stone is one of a group of five stones that mark the northern boundary of the parish of Papplewick.
