Description

This is a group of four lacemakers' cottages, now houses, dating from the early 19th century. The building has undergone some later alterations, including a two-storey addition constructed in the late 20th century. The construction is primarily brick, with a slate roof, and parts of the facade have been rendered. Dentillated eaves are present, along with a single ridge stack and two gable stacks.

The building is three and two storeys high, arranged over five bays. The windows are Yorkshire sash windows. Those on the ground and first floors have segmental brick heads. The front facade features two doors flanked by single sashes on the left, followed by another two doors flanked by single sashes. To the right is a projecting late 20th-century addition with a single sash window. Above this, five sashes are visible. Above those, there are eight larger sashes. The rear of the building includes a continuous two-storey lean-to addition built in the late 20th century. Finally, eight Yorkshire sashes are located above this.
