Description
No. 4 Nottingham Road is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of brick with a pantile roof and features a partial stone plinth. The building has a cogged band at the first floor and dentillated eaves, along with three gable stacks. It stands two storeys tall, plus a basement and garrets, and has an L-plan layout with three bays.
The windows are mostly 20th-century casements, with those on the front having segmental heads. The front entrance has a central door with an overlight, flanked by single casements. On the upper floor, there are three casements, with the central one being the smallest. The west side has a basement window featuring a Yorkshire sash, with two casements above it. On the east side, there is a door to the basement on the left, and to the right, steps lead to a lean-to corner porch with a segmental-headed door. Above the porch, there is one casement, and above that, there are two more casements.
