Description
Swancar Bridge is a canal overbridge built around 1795, likely designed by William Jessop for the Nottingham Canal Company. It is constructed from dressed stone and ashlar, featuring a plain string course. The bridge has a single elliptical arch, and its curved parapet walls are topped with half-round coping and small terminal piers.
