Description

The war memorial, built in 1921, is made of reconstituted stone and is colourwashed. It has the shape of a domed butter cross, resting on a round plinth that supports six columns. Above the plinth is a moulded, inscribed cornice band and a dome. At the top, there is a square lantern featuring four clock faces and a flame finial. Inside, the memorial includes a central hexagonal pier with a door and three inscribed bronze tablets commemorating both World Wars.
