Description
The building is a barn and stable located to the north-west of The Hollies, dating from the 17th century and mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and brick, featuring plain tile and slate roofs. The structure is partly stripped and has a rubble plinth with a single coped gable.
It is two storeys high and consists of three bays in a single range. The openings are unglazed. On the north-east side, there are three doorways and a square opening to the right, along with the remains of an adjoining stable. Above these, there are two square openings. The south-west side features an off-centre blocked door, flanked on the left by a door and on the right by a pair of doors with a segmental head. Above to the left, there is a loading door, and to the right, a hatch and a window, both with segmental heads. The north gable has an off-centre window flanked by single doors, with a square opening above to the right.
