Description

The Barn is a late 18th-century building located on Rectory Road. It is two storeys high, constructed of brick, and features a dentil eaves cornice and a pantile roof. The barn has two windows, one of which includes glazing bars and wood lintels. There is a segmental cart entry as well. To the east, there is a one-storey stable extension that also has a pantile roof and a dentil cornice, along with a stable door. The building is half painted and is included as part of a group with several nearby structures, including West Retford Hall, former stables, the Cottage, Rose Ghyll Cottage, and another farm building.
