Description
The Galway Arms Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Bridegate. It is two storeys high and constructed of brick, featuring a Welsh slate roof and a moulded eaves cornice. The façade has six windows without glazing bars, with brick voussoirs, and one window has a slightly-segmental head above an elliptical carriage entry to the left. There is a rendered band between the storeys. The ground floor has three modern windows and two doorways flanked by plain pilasters. To the right, there is a small shop front also with plain pilasters, and the building has a stone plinth. The Galway Arms Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 62 to 72 (even).
