Description

Milestone located 35 metres north of Forge Cottage, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of ashlar and stands two and a half metres high. The structure features an octagonal base topped by a cylindrical plinth and a cylindrical shaft, which has a band at the top and a round moulded cap.
