Description

The icehouse at Rockley House is a structure dating from the late 18th century for its interior, while the exterior was modified in the 19th century. It is built of red brick and features a pantile roof with dentil eaves. The entrance has a doorway with an ashlar lintel, and steps lead down to a moulded brick archway, which further descends to a doorway with a depressed arch. Inside, the icehouse contains three arched niches and a barrel roof.
