Description
The barn at Rockley House is an early 19th-century structure built of red brick, featuring a pantile roof with a single left gable orb finial and dentil eaves. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central doorway has a wooden plank door set under a round arch, which is adorned with a painted keystone and ashlar hinge blocks. To the left of the doorway, there are three slit ventilators. Above the doorway, there are two openings; the right one has a small wooden shutter, while the left one is now blocked, both situated under segmental arches with painted keystones. Flanking the left opening are single decorative ventilators. The left gable features an open pediment created by dentil bands and includes a large blind archway with a round arched blind panel above. This barn is included in the listing for its group value only.
