Description
Tunnel End Lodges and Tunnel Portal is a pair of lodges connected by a tunnel portal, built in the late 19th century. The structure is made of ashlar and features a plinth, rusticated quoins, an impost band, moulded eaves, a crenellated parapet, and two rear wall stacks. It is a single-storey building with three bays. Each lodge has a projecting bay on either side, which contains a single ogee-headed opening with a single glazing bar sash on each side and a front door. The central rusticated tunnel portal has a round-headed opening with keystones, flanked by piers that have cornices and ball finials.
