Public house and attached outbuildings. Early C19. Red brick, ashlar and coursed rubble with slate and pantile roofs. The public house with hipped slate roof projecting over the eaves has 2 brick ridge stacks to the rear. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central C20 brick porch with double door and over light, with single glazing bar fixed lights in the side walls. Inner doorway with C20 glazed double door and plain wooden surround. Flanked by single glazing bar sashes with splayed ashlar lintels, above are three similar sashes and lintels. To the left and set back is a coursed rubble and pantile outbuilding, with a hipped single storey east front and gabled 2 storey west front, facing the canal. The canal front has a central doorway with large double wooden door, flanked by single glazing bar casements. The south front has 2 blocked openings. Attached to the left and set back is a further coursed rubble outbuilding with brick west gable and pantile roof. The west 2 storey front has a single blocked light.With iron bars and a single doorway over. The single storey east gable has a single C20 casement. The south wall has from right to left a doorway with C20 door, a single C20 casement and a doorway with double wooden door.
