Description

Ranby Lodge is a lodge dating from around 1820. The lower part of the building is constructed from coursed rubble with a render finish, while a brick and render lean-to is attached to the right. The roof is slate, hipped in form, with a deep overhang and a central stack made of red brick. The lodge is two storeys high and has two bays. There are two 20th-century casement windows on each floor. The lean-to features a single casement with arched Gothic-style glazing bars, alongside a smaller casement to the right. Rear extensions and alterations to the lean-to are currently underway. The building is listed for its group value.
