Description
Manor Farm Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and features 20th-century pantile roofs. The building has a chamfered plinth, coped gables with kneelers and finials, and a single shouldered gable stack. It stands two storeys plus garrets and has three bays. The windows are primarily three and four-light splayed mullioned casements, most of which have hood moulds, with the ground floor windows having a continuous hood mould. The front of the cottage has a central door flanked by single casements, and above it are three casements, with the central one being smaller. The south gable features a four-light casement on each floor and a smaller garret casement above. The rear of the cottage has a central 20th-century lean-to porch with a casement to the left. Above the porch are central 20th-century casements flanked by single mullioned casements. The adjoining property, No 27, is not included in the listing.
