Description

Rothwell Villa is a house built around 1825. It features brown brick construction with hipped slate roofs and five brick chimneys. The building is designed in an L shape and has a two-storey, five-bay east front. There is a projecting off-centre brick porch, with a doorway that is flanked by plain pilasters and has tall, narrow fixed lights with glazing bars. The panelled door includes a single glazing bar sash window to the south, with a smaller sash window above it. To the north of the porch, there are three glazing bar sash windows, with three smaller similar windows located above. All the windows are topped with splayed painted lintels.
