Description

Subscription Mill is a tower mill built in 1801. It is constructed of tarred red brick and features decorated eaves. The mill has a fibreglass replica of the original white-painted wooden cap, which includes a fine pointed finial and knob. The structure stands four storeys tall and has a doorway with a segmental head and a plank door. On the west and east sides, there are three single sliding sash windows, one above the other. The internal staircase and floors are intact, and there are two French burr stores. The machinery from the mill has been relocated to Ellis's Mill in Lincoln.
