Description

This is a house located at 1 Hobb Lane, built in the 18th century with early 19th century alterations. It features whitewashed brick, raised coped gables, and two stacks, topped with a pantiled roof. The front has three bays and is two stories high, with a first-floor sill band. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a plain overlight, set within a wooden doorcase that has a plain frieze and hood. This door is flanked by two tall glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there is a central small 20th-century two-light casement window, also flanked by two tall glazing bar sashes.
