Description
This is a house located on Brigg Road, dating from the 17th to 18th century, with 19th to 20th-century windows. It is constructed from ironstone rubble with brick dressings, featuring a left gable and stacks, and has a pantile roof. The house has a three-room plan with entrances located to the right of the center. It is a single-storey building with an attic and three windows. The entrance includes a part-glazed door set beneath a segmental brick arch, with two 19th-century flush sash windows to the left, also under segmental arches, and a 20th-century casement window to the right. The eaves are stepped, with painted eaves boards on the right side. There is a central raking dormer with a flush sash window. The right gable is brick coped and tumbled, while the side is rendered. The house features end and axial stacks, and the interior has beamed ceilings.
