Description
Brooklands is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, originally converted from two dwellings in the late 19th century. It is constructed of local brick and has a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and features two first-floor windows. The entrance is located to the right of the centre and consists of a six-fielded panel door with a rectangular overlight, framed by a beaded wooden architrave that includes a dentilled cornice and hood. There is a further blocked entrance to the left. The windows are 16-pane sashes, with unequal sashes and glazing bars above. All windows have stone cills and stucco cambered arches and cills. The house also has a moulded wooden eaves board and end stacks.
