Description

This is a house dating from the late 18th and early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble with brick dressings, gables, and stacks, and has been colourwashed. The roof is covered in pantiles. The house is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor, and presents a symmetrical facade. A later 19th-century panelled front door is centrally positioned, flanked by sash windows set in flush wooden architraves, all beneath segmental arches. Above are two similar sash windows and a narrower central one, all under flat arches. A stepped and dentilled brick eaves cornice runs along the roofline. There are end stacks. The house stands with a gable end facing the street. Internally, there are plank doors with wrought-iron strap hinges and beamed ceilings.
