Description
This is a house located at 39 Front Street, dating from around 1700, with some late 18th century and minor 20th century alterations. The building is constructed of brown brick and features pantile roofs with raised brick coped gables and kneelers, along with two brick stacks. The front has three bays and three storeys, with bands separating the first and second floors and a dentillated dog tooth eaves course. The central entrance is a 20th century half-glazed door with a leaded overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. Above the door, there is a metal fire insurance plaque from the Sun Company. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows, all ground and first floor openings have brick segmental heads, and on the second floor, there are three smaller glazing bar sash windows. Inside, the property features chamfered beams with simple stepped stops.
