BARROWBY LOW ROAD (West side) Stable and mounting block 10 metres north of The Cedars

GV II

Stable and mounting block, c1800. Coursed squared stone with brick dressings and pantile roof with a brick ridge stack. Dentillated eaves. 2 storeys; 3 window range of 2-light sliding sashes with wooden lintels. Below, to left, a 2-light casement flanked by stable doors. To right, a 2-light casement, then a small plain sash and a board door. All these openings have brick segmental arches. Near the centre, a stone mounting block.
