Description
The stable and mounting block, built around 1800, is located 10 metres north of The Cedars on Low Road in Barrowby. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with brick dressings and features a pantile roof topped with a brick ridge stack. The building has dentillated eaves and stands two storeys high. The front has a three-window range of 2-light sliding sashes with wooden lintels. To the left, there is a 2-light casement flanked by stable doors. To the right, there is another 2-light casement, a small plain sash, and a board door. All openings are topped with brick segmental arches. Near the centre of the building, there is a stone mounting block.
