Description
The stable block, located 28 meters north-west of Boulby Grange Farmhouse, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a Welsh slate roof with stone ridge and gable copings. The building is two stories high with a three-bay slightly projecting gabled center and single-storey two-bay wings. The stable door is flanked by partly boarded windows with keyed lintels on each floor. There is a blocked circular window with a flat surround in the gable. The wings also have similar doors and windows. A mounting block with five steps is attached to the right end return. A lean-to extension at the rear of the left wing is not of special interest. The stable block is included for its group value.
