Description

The Fox and Hounds is a public house that dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings and square kneelers, along with brick chimneys at each end. There is a modern skylight present. Originally, it served as a farmhouse and cottage. The building has two storeys with two windows on the main part and two on the cottage section, which is lower in height. The windows are late 19th century sashes and are fitted with boarded shutters. The cottage part also has a boarded door.
