Description
Manor House is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the east side of Greatford Road in Barholm and Stowe. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The building has a hipped roof made of Collyweston slate and concrete tiles, with lead dressings, overhanging eaves supported by paired brackets, and two ashlar wall stacks. The house is designed in an L-shape and stands two stories high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of six panelled double doors topped with a bordered overlight, which is sheltered by a wrought iron latticed porch. On either side of the entrance are tall glazing bar sash windows on the ground floor, while the first floor has three similar windows. All openings are framed with plain ashlar architraves.
