Description

A barn, dating from around 1600, was altered in the early 18th century and again in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick, now rendered, and coursed limestone rubble to the right-hand end, with a steeply pitched Collyweston slate roof. The barn has a single-story, two-bay front with central full-height sliding doors and a planked door to the right. The red brick walls might be the underbuilding of an earlier timber frame. Internally, the barn has a four-bay roof with staggered butt purlins and a wind-braced centre bay.
