Description

The Old Rectory is a former rectory, now a house, built around 1850 by Edward Browning. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves, along with two wall stacks and a single ridge stack made of ashlar. The building is two stories high with a three-bay front. The center bay is slightly advanced and contains a blank opening, while there are single glazing bar sash windows on either side. On the first floor, there are three similar openings. All windows are topped with flat ashlar lintels and surrounds. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
