Description

This cottage, located south of the Old Post Office, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building is single storey with attics and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a planked door, which is flanked by two three-light glazing bar casements, all topped with segmental stone heads. In the roof, there are two gabled dormers, each containing two-light casements with slate hung cheeks. The cottage also has two reduced red brick gable stacks.
