Description

This building is a barn and waggon hovels associated with The Old Hall, dating from the early 17th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features roofs made of Collyweston and Welsh slate. The structure is single storey with a single bay front that has a central opening, which is framed by a timber lintel and ashlar reveals. On the left gable, there is a planked opening. The roof is designed with double staggered butt purlin construction across five bays, and includes wind bracing in the central bay. To the right, there is a lower range of outbuildings that are blank to the road.
