Description

45 Eastgate is a late 18th-century brick building, formerly part of number 47. It is two storeys high with two windows, each featuring a segmental brick arch and hung sash windows with glazing bars. A wooden eaves cornice runs along the top. A small, modern window is set into the ground floor within a previously blocked opening, likely a former doorway. A four-panel door is present beneath a glazed fanlight and a brick arch. To the right is an elliptical carriage arch constructed with stone rustication and a keystone. The roof is a temporary metal structure.
