Description

The Anchor Inn is a small 18th-century public house located on the south side of Eastgate. It is two storeys tall and has a rough cast exterior with modern tiles. The building is L-shaped, with the rear section featuring a steep-pitched roof. There are two chamfered bays that contain windows with modern glazing, and the upper bays form sloped dormers. The entrance has a modern door with a rectangular fanlight above it. To the left, there is a one-storey extension with one window and a pantile roof.
