Description

The bridge located 800 metres north-west of Harlaxton Manor is a Grade II* listed structure, built between 1822 and 1838. It is likely designed by Anthony Salvin for Gregory Gregory. The bridge is constructed of ashlar and features five segmental arches, each with keystones and voussoirs, separated by pointed cutwaters. It has pierced balustrades with moulded coping and intermediate pedestals, with the Gregory monogram displayed on the central pedestal. The ends of the bridge are convex and have square pedestals.
