Description

This is a range of cottages dating to the 18th or early 19th century, located on the north side of West Street. The cottages are constructed of coursed stone, with a continuous roof of old slates and brick stacks. Number 42 has a cement-rendered facade. Each cottage originally had two windows with sliding sashes, and a plain cottage door, all with stone lintels. The ground floor windows have been altered. Nos 34 to 42 form a cohesive group.
