Description
The former weighbridge cabin for the Edenham and Little Bytham Railway at Copy Lawn Farm is a building from around 1856, now used as a store. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of pantiles with a crested ridge and features a single ashlar moulded stack. The cabin is a single storey with a single bay front, which includes a central planked door with an ashlar lintel. To the left, there is a fixed four-light window also with an ashlar lintel. The Edenham and Little Bytham Railway was established by Lord Willoughby de Eresby by converting a road into a railway, but it ceased operation around 1880.
