Description
The caretaker's hut and toilet blocks at Edenham County Primary School were built in 1873 and have undergone minor alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a red brick side wall. It has a pantile roof with bargeboards and is a single-storey building. The gable end has a single planked door in a plain wooden surround, and there is a small hinged light in the rear gable. The toilet block has a louvred roof and back-to-back cubicles. On either side, there are four planked doorways to cubicles with chamfered wooden surrounds leading to the gables. The gable end also has a single planked doorway, with a plain casement window from the 20th century to the left. This building is included for its group value only.
