Description

The Vine is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed and banded limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a Collyweston slate roof. The building has two red brick gable stacks and is two stories high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within a plain door surround, topped by a flat hood. This door is flanked by single 20th-century casement windows. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar casements. All the windows are adorned with flat stone arches that include ashlar keystones.
