Description
14 Austin Street is a building with origins dating back to the 18th century. It stands two storeys high with attics, constructed from coursed rubble. The roof is a mansard style, covered with stone slates and hipped to the left. There are two dormers featuring casement windows with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars set beneath wooden lintels. The ground floor has three sliding sash windows, with one lintel rendered. The entrance features a plain door with a rectangular fanlight above, also under a wooden lintel. Additionally, there are garage doors located to the side. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 14, 16, 16A, 16B, and Nos 17 to 20 consecutively, as well as the Warehouse and Painting Depot and Nos 24 to 28 consecutively.
