Description
15 St Peter's Street is a 17th century building that has been altered over time. It is two storeys high and constructed from coursed rubble, topped with a stone slate roof. The building features a prominent two-storey canted bay made of ashlar, which includes a five-light stone mullioned window on each storey. There is a string course and a moulded gable above, adorned with carved kneelers and a datestone inscribed "AM 1663".
On the first floor, there is a window with two lights that has 'Gothic' glazing, while the ground floor window has three lights and a drip mould. The doorway features a late door set within a 12th century Norman arch, which retains its jambs and abacus, along with an inserted keystone made of Barnack Rag stone.
Together with No 14, this building forms a group of historical significance.
