Description
Number 1, St Peter's Vale is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys high with attics and constructed from coursed rubble. The building features a mansard roof covered with old slates, which includes two gabled dormers with casement windows. The cottage has two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath chamfered wood lintels. A modern door has been added. This small house is situated in an attractive location with a stone terrace at the front. It is part of a group that includes Nos 1 and 2, King's Mill, No 5, and the former stables to King's Mill.
