Description
Nos 70 to 73 on Scotgate, built in 1671, are a late 18th-century range of buildings located on the north side of the street. They are constructed from coursed rubble and are positioned on the curve of the corner with All Saints' Place. The buildings are two storeys high with attics and feature a mansarded roof with dormers. The front has a range of eight double-hung sash windows, each with three lights and glazing bars, all supported by wood lintels. The ground floor includes one modern double-hung sash window with glazing bars and a large modern shop front. No 15 has two restored three-light windows and a modern door, also under a wood lintel. Although these properties have undergone considerable recent alterations, they are still recognized as part of a group with the properties on All Saints' Place.
