Description

The Village Pump is a water pump dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a square base with a shaped rounded basin. The sides are tapering and panelled, topped with a moulded cornice and base, although the original finial is now lost. On the front panel, there is a bronze spigot, while the rear is fitted with an iron handle.
