Description

No. 25 High Street is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a steeply pitched pantile roof. The gables are raised and coped with stone, and there are single gable and ridge stacks that have stone bases and brick tops. The building has an L-plan layout and was originally designed with a lobby entry. It is a single storey plus garret structure, with a three-bay front that includes three 20th-century three-light glazing bar casements. This cottage is included in the listing for its group value only.
