Description

30 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features pantile roofs, along with a central red brick stack. The building is a single storey with attics and has a four-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door, flanked by single three-light casement windows, with a similar window to the right. All openings have timber lintels. Next to the door, there is an "A" for Ancaster with a coronet above it. The roof includes two gabled dormers, each with two-light casements and rendered cheeks. This building is included for its group value only.
