Description
The Midland Bank, originally a house built around 1730, has been altered in the 20th century. It features ashlar stonework, a concrete plain tiled roof, and two ashlar gable stacks. The building is two stories high with attics and has a four-bay front. Architectural details include a plinth, a platt band, a first-floor cill band, and a cornice with modillion and dentil features. The entrance has a 20th-century panelled door, with a single fixed light to the left and three fixed lights to the right. On the first floor, there are four plain sash windows with moulded stone architraves and raised stepped keyblocks. The roof includes two gabled dormers, each with two-light casements and rendered cheeks.
