Description
Nos 12 to 14 on Ironmonger Street are a range of buildings dating from 1671, constructed in coursed rubble. They feature stone dressings and a stone slate roof, with two cambered dormers for each house. Each building has four stone stacks and three windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set within rusticated stone reveals and topped with flat stone arches. The houses have rusticated quoins. No 12 has a modern shop front, while No 13 features a 19th-century shop front with two windows that have glazing bars, flanking a modern door. This door is half-glazed and positioned to the right, accompanied by a blocked rectangular fanlight and thin pilasters, along with an inset scraper. No 14 also has a modern shop front. Nos 7 to 14 form a group.
