Description
These garden steps, located 80 metres south of Harlaxton Manor, were built around 1838 to 1844, likely designed by William Burn for Gregory Gregory. Constructed from ashlar, the steps feature a double flight with landings both midway and at the bottom. They have plain balustrade walls and cruciform pedestals. At the top of the steps, there are two square urns with bulged bases. These steps are part of the Harlaxton Manor Gardens, which are listed on the Gardens Register at grade II star, and they are included for their group value.
