Description

The garden steps, located to the south of Morley Manor, were constructed around 1900 by G Bodley. They are made of ashlar sandstone and consist of a flight of eight steps flanked by a Tudor style balustrade, which is now partly missing. At each end of the steps, there is a plain square pier featuring a moulded base, a moulded cornice, and a ball finial on top. These steps were designed as part of a formal garden that was laid out alongside the house.
