Description

The garden gate piers located on the avenue to the East Drive date from the late 18th century and are constructed from ashlar stone. These square gate piers feature moulded bases and cornices, topped with ball finials that have swept bases. The main park was designed by Capability Brown in 1772 for the Dukes of Ancaster.
